Hi All,

I am new to the forum. Attached are some photos taken two days ago here in Georgetown, Texas. The Cactus Pear has just started blooming.

They are beautiful. A lot different from the foliage and blooms we have here in FL!
Where is Georgetown?

Great!

Nice photos. Like the first shot, but more particularly the reflection image. Well done!

Prickly Pears are surprisingly beautiful when they bloom, and you captured that wonderfully.

Where do live in Georgetown, I live over in Leander.

Now what all the non-Texans have to see is how un-naturally green it is here now!

Walt,

Thanks. Georgetown is about 30 miles north of Austin. I live in a Del Webb community called Sun City Texas.

Matthew,

Thanks. I live in Sun City Texas, about 5 miles west Georgetown. These photos were taken there.

Nice job, good composition - I like them! The only improvement I would like to see is bigger pictures.
