Thanks Lee (and I wish you were an editor... LOL). The shots you mention were all taken from trackside, inside of turns (thanks to media access) so I can get fairly close and still be safe. The first two are at track level and the 3rd (the one after the crash photo) was taken from the embankment (about 6' above the track).

Yep JMR... Panned with the BIGMA at about 190mm, 1/180sec, f9.5 (photo of #910) and f13 (photo of #128) Most of my panning on these guys is done at between 1/180sec and 1/250sec.
