posterized edges :/

its been awhile since i posted something...

i guess i have a certain vested intrest in the.. subject, so i think this is a good photo.. haha

i dont dig into photoshop that often, but sometimes certain photos take very well to filtering,

but please, C&C welcome, tell me what you think.

I think it works quite well, personally. Could easily be a still from one of those new wave of rotoscoped animated films. I like it.

yeah, waking life i think was the first film to do that (afaik)

but "a scanner darkly" was really something.

I don't personally take to posterized pics very often but this one seems to work. Can't say why, it just does.

It looks more like a painting than a photo. I like the effect with these colors. Good choice.

Nice work. I think it works because she is delineated in black against the yellow boardwalk and is complimented by her deep black shadow, which gives her a 3D quality.

The original shot is ok but it's just a pretty girl sitting on a wood deck with a cell phone. The posterization makes it. Good work.

Like everyone else, I like the posterized treatment. Original shot ain't bad either.

i wish i kept the shot of the actual architectual contraption, but doesnt it strike anyone odd that she is sitting in an almost vertical position on said "wood deck"
