This is my first attempt in using external lights for a shoot.
I ordered the strobist 2 light kits from mpex

I am surprised with the quality of the light with just a simple light stand, umbrella and a flash. I am pretty excited about the setup because this is very new to me.

This is my niece.
This is a one light setup with my K20D and Pentax 50-135mm lens. The flash is a Nikon SB-28 flash triggered by CyberSync wireless trigger.

C&C are welcomed. I know the posed and the clothing is not perfect, she was at my house and I needed a model.

Cute young lady. A little dark on the right (her left) side but I like this shot a lot. The lighting is nice and soft. Nice shot!
