Great picture! I love the light on the perfectly focused leaf against the dark background. Did you use a flash?

Hi

Thanks for the kind comments. i didnt use flash....this was handheld in my back garden, with the sun at an agle to the back and left. In PSE I sharpened the leaf only with USM, and used levels to darken the (already) dark background further so as to isolate the leaf.

I am very pleased as this is the first time I have used a Macro lens.....as I said I just picked this one up on ebay last week.
