Seascape at dawn

This one was made at Vlieland, one of our small Wadden Isles in the Northern part of the Netherlands.



Pentax-DA 70/2.4 ltd.
@ f/3.2, ISO100, 1/800"

Great shot! I like the zoned composition and the different grads of blue-green colours!

Pastel sky, softly lit foreground, ship at anchor-- what's not to like? Nice composition.

I agree with that! The subtle lines of the poles in the foreground draw the eye to the sailing boat.

Thank you Georg! I find it a bit awkward to make portrait landscape photos, but sometimes they work, I guess...

Dale, thank you! It happens far to often I don't think about the composition, but this shot was thought over before...and those poles were part of the thinking...

Great shot all those blues and that big puffy white cloud sets it off, thanks for sharing.
