Bees and flies with the Pentax-A 100/4 macro
Posted By: Rense, 07-17-2009, 01:06 PM

I posted some first photos with this newly aquired lens in the POTW earlier today. Although I only got this lens one day now, I realy love it ! Here are some more testshots with the Pentax-A 100mm 1:4 macro, @ f/5.6, ISO800.

Wow, nice series! The last one is just excellent. I would also try twisting the colour balance a bit more to blue side - just to see if it works even better, what do you think?

Yep, you're right! I tried it, just a very tiny little, and it improves! Thank you!

I've never been a fan of flies, but you managed to make them look beautiful. Very well done. Thanks for posting.

#2 for me - it's a great perspective.

They are all fine shots, though.
