Down on the south coast of South Australia (Middleton Beach, facing the Southern Ocean); watch Southern Right Whales and snapped a few of the local birds.

Great pictures, Kym. I've never seen gulls with bright red beaks. Very well done.

Common as muck they may be, but they do pose beautifully. You get quite a few oystercatchers around Middleton, too, which are gorgeous if you can get close enough. See any whales? We've had a few pass by Kangaroo Island, but the season isn't in full swing yet, so keep watching.

The last two images are pretty good. JLS sure does look serene and all knowing in the third image. IMHO, the soundtrack of the movie (never should have been made) and the book was much better than the movie. The music was awesome and I still listen to it. "Look at the way I glide...sweetly how it sings..." from the Neil Diamond soundtrack of JLS and your last image.
