That's what I'd say if I saw that here. They user to be common here in Baltimore but are a rare sighting now.

Wow how all these photos are droppin to page three is beyond me... I love the way you have split the photo with the cable. And a cool looking bird.

I would be smiling big time if I had taken this shot. And then I would be bummed that few commented on it!

Even though the Brown and Long Billed are very similar in appearance, your location pretty much decides it - it's a Brown Thrasher if you are not in the deep south of Texas.

The Long billed Thrasher is only in the very southern-most areas of Texas and possibly a few scattered areas in the mid-west. Basically it's common in the Rio Grande and Mexico, but not much anywhere else. I regularly saw them in the Rio Grande Valley - so funny to watch too.
