My new guitar & first photos
Posted By: mikeSF, 07-19-2009, 08:40 PM

my other hobby is music and after a 2.5 yr wait, the custom guitar I ordered was completed this week. Here are the first photos. No flash, just window light for some and room lights for others. I will try to set up some better shots at a later date, but check out this beautiful instrument.

Oh, that's a real pretty guitar. I bet you're going to have some fun with that.
Excellent shots, BTW. Nicely done.

I can barely figure out my ukulele. What on earth do you do with seven strings?

Lovely shots. I tried it with my guitar but ended with lots of unwanted reflections.

Beautiful lines and finish. Is it expensive for a custom job.....don't answer that the price is irrelevant when the first notes come out.....Great piece of kit

cheers

Wow if it sounds half as good as it looks...

What a beautiful work of art. You are so very lucky. Your very own Sakashta.

When do we get to hear it?

I know the joy of having someone make an instrument just for you. It always remains special. Live long to enjoy it...

Beautiful captures. As Impact said, it's very difficult to control those reflections, but you've done it to perfection.

yes, it even exceeded my expectations - the builder is a master and did amazing work.

I mostly play ukelele cover tunes on my 7-string guitar.

thanks - that was the very first shot i took shortly after receiving it. It was night and my kids were watching TV and i think that purplish reflection on the guitar is a scene from Spongebob Squarepants.
