I think that a square format may suits the picture better.
Isn't the face skin a bit too much processed?

She looks a bit dazed to me - a "deer in the headlights". Almost as if she's asking, "what am I doing here?" I don't know whether that was the intent.
Photography is technically outstanding - as is always the case with your photos.

I think she needs to smile Eric, her eye makeup combined with her expression makes her look too harsh.

I agree that the face seems to be a bit over processed and a stunned look on her face.

Eric, nicely exposed, but what about separating her from the background?
You normally use a kick light or second off camera flash, and it looks like one would really help here too.

But again, a decent shot.

The pic reminds me Liza Minnelli. She looks like her and the expression is a bit sad and dramatic.

I think you've gotten some good advice here and on the other forum, so I'll just make one observation:

She has a pretty obvious tan line on her left arm (right arm if you're the viewer) from a watch. Is there any way you can correct that? I didn't notice it the first 5 times I looked, but now that I have, it's glaring for me. I had this same issue with my self-portraits and had a large bracelet I'd wear to cover it up if that arm had to be in the photo.

Eric,

The square crop looks much better, but I have to ask... Were the lights bothering her eyes? She looks as if she was almost crying. You might be able to fix this by knocking down some of the specular highlights and sheen in and around her eyes.

I'll brush over the arm for the final version

No don't think she was bothered by the lights, she had wet eyes when she came to the studio. But I think the highlights gives a bit more depth to the image.. I'll hear what she thinks about it herself

THAT is, in the end, the only thing that matters.
