was walking with my girlfriend here in Florida at MacArthur state park and as we were coming to the ocean side I spotted this guy.

Looks like something out of Alien. How big are those things?

He wasn't very big at all. Maybe a full 2" from the tip of one leg to the other. mr crab was eating something on the tip of the mangrove seed.

I believe its a Fiddler crab with out the big claw so it maybe a female?
