Puget Sound Sunset
Posted By: OrenMc, 07-26-2009, 06:11 AM

I was on my way home last night and seen some great color. I didn't have my tripod with me so I went back and forth about stopping to shot. I missed the best of it and I used the lens I already had on the camera, my VL Nokton 58. I should have switch out wider but for handheld it came out okay I think.

Oren,
You really are bent on shooting the classic Seattle shots! I grew up with views over the sound to the Olympics and never tire of seeing a good capture of that landscape. Thank you.

Thanks all for the kind comments. I really wish I would have had a tripod so I could have lowered the ISO. The waters glow isn't really captured here but I am still glad I stopped.

Really nice - I'm glad for the presence of the boat, which gives the image some scale.
