Lightening Storm - First attempts

Disclaimer... Did this on a whim... I can see some errors such as noise due to high ISO perhaps.... Shot these on a porch so please forgive the banister and the powerlines...

I really didn't know what I was doing, just did a long exposure (4-10 seconds) and hoped lightning flashed... Used a tripod. Some limited post processing in Lightroom2

Please send your comments and criticism....

some amazing shots for what is a very difficult subject!
