Here's my SDCC thread from last year, if anyone is interested.

A couple of my favorites from San Diego Comic-Con 2009! It was more difficult to shoot this year because it was incredibly crowded. I read that they expected 160,000 people to attend. I mostly used my FA 35mm, except for the panel shots which were taken with my A* 200mm.

I enjoyed this. I am not all the much in the loop; I only knew the convention was going on because I follow Adam Savage on Twitter and he was posting about it. Some interesting people there for sure.

As an aside; if you watch/listen to podcasts, the talk that Savage gives on the Ted Talks podcast, about his passion for the Dodo, as well as for the Maltese Falcon really show that he is totally passionate about what he does and his persona on Mythbusters is true to life.

I'd love to attend NYCC some day.

My friends and I are thinking of traveling the country and hitting up ever major geek convention one year: NYCC, WonderCon, SakuraCon, E3, LA Anime Expo, Dragon*Con, SDCC, PAX, etc.

That's the great part of the Mythbusters panel. They talk and act in the same way as they do on the shows because they're not actors or Hollywood producers. They are truly a group of people who just want to do what they do. It's awesome.

Colorful shots from a colorful cast of characters. Those X-men do not look very thrilled for some unknown reason.
