Here's the best of the lightning I got last night...
K-7 @ ISO 400, Tamron 70-200 @ f/3.5, 20 sec.
Since the K-7 does mandatory Dark Frame Subtraction on bulb mode, I find lightning easier to capture using a series of longish exposures that each aren't long enough to activate DFS. In this regard the K-7 is slightly superior to the K20D since the exposure time can be longer without kicking on the DFS. It sure burns the actuations though - took about 300 shots of the storm last night, most of which don't contain lightning
