I like the noise on this one. I've always thought to myself: digital noise is like film grain, it is an attribute that could be useful. Never really enjoyed digital noise, though, before seeing this. I like.

Nice bird, too. I don't want to say too much because right now I'm thinking about dinner, and I might regard the heron with the wrong kind of admiration.

As for the topic: first you show up, then you see what happens.

Thanks for your comments. I was shooting at 800 ISO and the photo is cropped, thus the grain in the image. Was trying for shutter speed though in the end I had enough time to lower the speed. Next time!!! JIM
