While everybody back home was sleeping and enjoying their comfy beds and pillows, these guys were up "working" to keep us all safe. Actually, it doesn't look like much work to me (providing you've practiced a couple times!!), but a whole lot of fun.
Pic was taken with my old faithfull Pentax MG, somewhere over Germany near Ramstein Air Base (that's where I was stationed and this particular F4E Phantom was from. Big base with lots of activitiy. Print was then scanned and saved onto my computer. The actual pic you can see the pilots face much clearer, since this pic looks a little dark. Don't afraid to "Doctor it up" and repost your improved pic if you like.
Anyway, I think it's an interesting pic, a fun time in my life, and thought you might enjoy it.
