Wow! great shot. I love the pose. Not sure why you would be unsure about this one. Perhaps her skin looks a little sunburnt. It still looks good though.

I think the (I assume it's glitter) is a let down on this one Eric, your lighting looks so flat and so the glitter doesn't achieve anything apart from looking odd and unidentifiable.
There doesn't appear to be much separation between subject and background either.

Well Eric, it's still a great shot.
There's lots of detail - perhaps too much as you say given the type of portrait it is.
A more subdued approach would have also suited, but you know, you've done well anyway.

I think more than the lighting it is just too busy of a shot. The scarf/veil, she's nude, the necklaces, the glitter, her thumb is sticking out oddly. And she looks like she's forcing the pose - something I don't think I've ever seen in your work.

And it's still better than what I've pulled off in the studio.
