A symboly that you've just blown way too much money.

Why can't woman be satisfied with a picture of it like this? Remember Mr. Bean? He got his girl that picture behind the ring she wanted, and she got all upset. Geesh.

You know the worst part? If an engagement fails, it will be at about two months or later. Guess how long the return policy is...30 days! Guess what the value is used...about 25 - 30 cents on the dollar!

That explains why I have a very nice 1/2 carat ring in my sock drawer. If figure I will "re-purpose" it if I ever get engaged again.

Then again...I might just get my ear pierced and have it mounted as a stud earring.

I have never grasped why I should want someone to blow a whole whack of money on some rock to wear on my finger, or more likely, worry about so much that it lives in a safety deposit box. it's ok. there's a logical reason for that. I used a 55-300 lens set at almost 100mm with a +3 diopter lens. that would explain a bit of the top shallow DOF. it's the sharpest at that point and that I can come up with. and I don't think that there would be anyone here that could had done it better with that set of lens equipment used unless I use a macro specialty lens.
