Sigma 70-200 HSM II first shots
Posted By: OrenMc, 08-01-2009, 06:52 PM

The first two are @ 200mm f2.8 just to see if I had a problem. You be the judge.

No sharpening, just a little color cor. and slight crop. Full res @ Flickr

These next ones are downsized and sharpened. Various distance and aperture.

Okay, I'm done. Sorry about the overload.

Good luck, this will be a good test of Sigma customer service.

I'm keen to hear how you get on, keep us posted. I've got a couple of Sigma lenses and it would be good to hear of great after sales service.

Any advances on Sigma's service of your lens deadwolfbones?
I'm keen to hear also as I too have ordered a copy of the lens after returning a Tamron 70-200 for a sticky aperture lever. I'll only have 1 yr warranty on mine being a non-US customer.

Lens has been with them for a week and a half (real time, not business time). No word from them as yet.

Thanks for posting... for the past week I've been contemplating between getting a 50-135 & this lens... I was hesitant about getting the 70-200mm due to some reviews about it getting soft at 200mm but real world results looks good enough for me.
