Tryin out my Taks!
Posted By: SCguy, 08-01-2009, 09:05 PM

And the results are in... I'm in love! I took out my new (to me) 35mm f/3.5, 55mm f/2.0, and my 150mm f/4 to a nearby town, Aiken, SC and visited Hopeland Gardens.

Sorry for not having anything original, just flowers again, sigh...

55mm f/2.0

150mm f/4

35mm f/3.5

Thanks for looking!

These are all very sharp images.
You're using these old Taks to perfection.
Well done and congrats on getting them!

Thanks,

I love the combination of my K10D with split-circle focusing screen and these old Takumar lenses. None of these images had any PP sharpening and a good bit of them were shot wide open too!

I took along my M 100mm f/2.8, and I wasn't even tempted to shoot with it! It is a nice lens, but no Takumar for sure!

Of course no PP. Taks have it's own PP engine built on.

Great stuff RD.

I don't have any Taks as yet but I like what I've seen from them so far.
