My first outing with the K-7. (12 imgs.)
Posted By: pcarfan, 08-02-2009, 01:06 PM

I had a few hours to sneak out and take some pictures yesterday. This is not my usual style of shooting....the Sigma 100-300 always had the Tamron 1.4 TC on it. My "review"/thoughts on the K-7 will be posted in the DSLR section.

If exif is not intact, then those had noiseware to remove noise. Most didn't and most go up to iso 1250 or 1600, so check the exif. (Damn, Exif is not showing up properly for me for all images....if you guy's can't see it either, then let me know, and I will at least post the iso of each image)

Well, looks like you can do no wrong with the combo.
The unPP'd images are just well captured in all respects.

Not every image is taken with the sigma 100-300 + 1.7 TC. I assumed the exif will be intact and only mentioned it for focal lengths that are not of the primes I used. I also used the F135/2.8 and the FA77 Limited. Focal lengths other than 135 anf 77 were taken with the sigma 100-300 + 1.7 TC. Sorry for the confusion.

All images were PP in LR2.4 and CS2. But, only the two images were cleaned in noiseware. I may have used the LR noise on one other.

Thank you very much for the compliments.

P.S: Is the Exif showing up?

Thank you....in bright light there is pretty much no noise at all, only minor speckles even at 100%...different story in the shadow.

Just noticed that #8 shows obvious photoshop brush halos. Any other images showing that in your screens ?

Not on my monitor - wonderful shots. The K7 (or any camera) will do well in your hands.
