Morning Shoot

Love the first one - the early fisherman gets the fish, the sun is framed well. The first Heron shot is great you must of been relatively close.

I love the depth the mist gives. You caught it perfectly. I also love that last heron shot. Perfect warm light, great composition and excellent detail! Nicely done.

Could the OP have caught the depth of the myst any differently? I'm no myst-expert, so myst-experts should correct me; however, my assumption to my own question is that it could not have been caught any differently, unless it was significantly over- or under-exposed, but the camera exposed the second shot, and the myst looks no different than in the first. Please don't think this is criticism of the images—which I really enjoy.

In the third shot, was the sky actually middle grey? Did you purposefully under-expose to create the silhouette?

Beautiful shots Jimbo, that 1st one is stunning. I bet it would sell well in fishing stores.

Anytime. I am there almost every morning on the wwekend. [Around 5:30 -5:45 AM] The nice thing is the best time of the year is late August and early September. I get to sleep in a extra 45 minutres. Cheers JIM [PM me if you ever want to set up a time.]

I have a buddy that is a guide and I am going to print the first one for him. He is also giving me some room omn his web site to put pictures from the region. I will post the link when we get down. JIM
