Flower Macros (3 pics/1vid)
Posted By: inferno10, 08-02-2009, 06:30 PM

It was an overcast day in San Francisco, so it was the perfect time to go photograph some flowers!

Not sure how to embed a YouTube video, but here's the link to the quick footage: YouTube - The Flower and the Bee

All the images and video were taken with the Tamron SP 90mm f/2.8 Di Macro.

I like the first one. Reds are way too saturated in the second.

If you are in SF, we're trying to organise a meetup next Sunday if you're interested.

I am game for the SF meetup. And I agree w/ the red. My K-7 always seems to blow out the reds.

Another flower macro, taken the same day:

Reduce the saturation on your camera, see if that makes a difference, red is the real problem colour.

Post in the thread if you're interested and join the Bay Area user group so people can contact you about any other events; https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/groups/24-bay-area-ca/

I have the same problem with reds and purples with my K10, don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Another first of the first shot.
Well done with it.
Beautifully lit and captured elements.
