But today it is about my wife, Greta Green Thumb.

This year she went crazy planting the heirloom tomatoes... And they are all coming of age right now. She picked a few for dinner the other night and I had to snap this shot fast before the girls new it was on the table as they just ingest them without chewing... but this story is about one in particular.

You will notice it on the right side of the plate. A orange and red marbled beauty called "hillbilly tomato". Not offense intended to my hillbilly brothers and sisters on the forum.
Friends, let me tell you this is the best tasting tomato I have every had. It is sweet like a melon or a piece of fruit. So good...
Get yourself some Hillbilly Tomato seeds for next year... then head on over and we will spit some seeds...

This is my first year w/o a veggie garden in 18 yrs and that plate is overwhelmingly gorgeous. I'm coming to visit!
