Two car shots!

Here are two of my favorite pictures that I took recently. Both were shot with the SMC A 35-105 f/3.5 zoom lens which I absolutly love shooting with. However, I do have one question? If I use the two second timer of my K20D which engages the mirror lock up, can I still have some camera shake even if its on a tripod. I am asking this because most of my shots of the jetta were not as sharp as I was expecting, especially after seeing the sharpness at f/4. (the jetta shot was at f/4.5) So if anyone can help me out that would be great and some C&C on the photos would be great too.

I love the first one, in part because I have an '08 Alpine White 3 Series sedan - alas, not an M-3 however.

I really like both shots...very nice!

The Jetta is a stunner. I'm a VW man myself...I have an '08 Rabbit (Rabbit=Golf in Canada) in Union Grey. My first car was an '87 Cabriolet (white w black top)...man, I loved that car.

I like them both as well. Not sure what your worried about with the second one. Looks pretty sharp to me
