Group shot
Posted By: Mousehill, 05-13-2007, 05:21 PM

Sometimes things work out as you've got them planned! Before I went with some friend to the park to get some images for one of their mothers I had an image in mind with 3 "groups" between the trees.
After some debate and negotiating with the flash I manged to get this one.

They were pleased and I have to admit I don't mind the image either.

Focal Length 45 mm
Exposure Time 1/30 sec
Aperture f/6.3
ISO Equivalent 320

Cheers,
Mike

Hi Mike, welcome to the "other place!" I really like the shot too, especially considering it's Mothers Day! Really nice grouping, with the dads (I assume those are the husbands) in the background. If 'youse guys' have a Father's day you should do the same shot with the men in the fore/middle ground and the women looking on!

That is great Mike. The way you placed the mothers with kids in the foreground and the dads in the background really works. I also like how you got so much detail in the leaves and treetrunks. One for the wall.

Cheers

Eddie

Hi Mike!

That is a picture full of depth! I love the 3D feel. The expressions on the faces and the light also make it just a 'happy' picture - automatically brings a smile to the viewer's face. Well done!
