It must be Jellyfish Season...

TN Aquarium in Chattanooga, Pentax K20D, SMC-A 50mm f1.7 (at around f2.8) & ISO1600... background and dirt specks on the glass and in the water cleaned up significantly.

More beauties of the sea.
Well done with these Mike.
Love the soft details in #1 - what magnificent creatures they are.

Thanks everyone! I was amazed with the ISO 1600 performance myself. Just a note, I performed ZERO noise reduction on any of these. Sorry it took a bit to get them posted. I had wedding photos (the initial reason for the trip) and spent a fair bit sorting thru and posting the Biltmore, Blue Ridge Parkway and Waterfall photos.

These Jellies are definately a challenge to shoot and I plan on a trip to the Baltimore Aquarium to practice some more!

Will do Mel... Next weekend is AMA Pro Motocross at Budds Creek on Saturday and the DC Criterium Bicycle race on Sunday. The foollowing weekend is MotoGP racing at Summit Point. Then my dad is visiting for 3 weeks. Looks like it'll be the end of Sep before I can get up there. hopefully the Jelly exhibit will still be going on.
