At the zoo I came upon this lovely bronze lifesize of these two children entitled "Just a Taste". Young lad and lass .. she was keeping a watchful eye on her ice cream cone.. The details, right down to the buckles and buttons, was terrif. Hope I captured it well ..

Nice shot AJ, reminds me of me and my sister a looooooonnnnnnng time ago. I have only one suggestion, you've caught his expression perfectly but her profile is a bit too extreme to see the full expression. If you had pulled away a bit and angled the shot a bit to catch more of her expression I think it would be more effective.

Thanks Salty - when I go back I'll give it a few more goes. I was concentrating on the little boy's eyes and expression. I needed more elbow room too; bit of a crowd gathered to watch me shoot and soon they saw what I saw as I pointed out some details. Perhaps next time. cheers.

You did very well and I have to agree with Salty. I to think if you pulled back a little you would have caught more of the expressions of both. It is a wonderful shot and as I said you did very well. good luck on your next go.
