My ex was/is a professional actress. I think I've inherited from her a love of the dramatic. Here are two from the last couple of weeks that demonstrate that.
What can be more dramatic than late afternoon light backlighting a white tulip?Tamron 90mm macro, f4.5 at 1/1500
I'm kinda proud of this one. I saw this tulip above a bunch of violet pansies. Opened up the aperture to get good bokeh from the shot, came out exactly as planned. Absolutely no PP except cropping and resizing, no curves, no exposure adjustment, no color enhancements. The contrast between the colors of the tulip and the blurred violet background is dramatic and came out just right! Tamron 90mm macro f3.5 at 1/1000
