Another family portrait set
Posted By: attack11, 08-18-2009, 02:02 PM

these are some of the first batch processed, which are part of a set of >200 pics; which i'm gonna trim down to about half. i'll keep adding to the thread as i finish batches.

shitty light conditions, but great subject. shot with my da* 50-135 in a kitchen with really orange light.

thanks! here's some from the end of the session with 2 key umbrellas (shoot through) in her tiny living room (one was out of the room technically). i ran into a sync speed issue with my cheapo triggers again so i lost a few awesome shots. budgeting for something reliable at 1/180 now.

shot with my da* 16-50, nearly 1/1 ratios on the lights to over power the sun coming through a large window.

i have 144 park pics to go through/process; so next update in a few days i figure.

Shot in 40c / clear sky slash sunny weather. Killer heat. Used my DA* 50-135 mostly in MTF drive, with the odd f2.8 shot.

Great swing shots (those are definitely challenging to get down)!

Very very nice, Jason.
Fair to say that the 50-135 is a stellar bright, sharp and colourful lens.
Beautiful.
