A fluke of a Bee Photo

I was around 8 feet above this flower, on a boardwalk, and decided to snap on my Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar 200mm F2.8 for an artistic shot.

I had just focused on this plant, as this bee landed on it.

It's my hardest lens to focus, with such a narrow DOF, especially at that distance. However I was able to somehow get close, and snap a photo before the bee flew off... just a moment later.

Here's the crop.

I don't think I can complain, for a photo at 8' away, shot wide open at f2.8.
