Light is a mixture from lamps above the tanks and from the other side of the tanks, that's why the background goes blank in some areas. Color is almost original. I had to increase contrast since it came out very low (FA50/1.4 wide open).

Yes, they are quite nice subjects. The ones in this tank reminded me a bit about the space ship E.T. came in...
These are shot at the science museum
Universeum in Gothenburg (Göteborg). You can visit everything form Amazonas to the Arctic there, and do loads of physical hands on experiments. The aquarium section is extensive.
Otherwise I can recommend the Aquarium in Helsinki, Finland. They have fluorescent jellyfishes...and an octopussy who plays with Lego!
