Taken with Canons
Posted By: jct us101, 08-21-2009, 11:55 PM

I ran out of things to post with my *ist DS, so I figured I'd go and post a few from my Canon archives. My favorites.

So do I. It just got into Explore on Flickr the other day and reached #1. Ironically it was taken with a point and shoot camera.

Just goes to prove the point about it being the photographer not the camera.

Nice ones Cody.
All very thoughtfully taken.
I also am fond of #2's clean look.
Well done - even if it's done with a Canon.

I really think #4 is a fantastic image.

I would've loved to have seen a brief glimpse of an arm/ hand in that mirror reachin' up from the bottom of the mirror. It would present a very strong narrative. Your shot is great, nonetheless.

Great images. No 2 is just incredible. It captures th romance of a pastoral scene so well. I can just hear Beethoven Pastoral symphony.

The praise #2 is getting and the fact that it was taken with a P&S lends credence to my suggestion to you that it isn't your current camera and it's 6MP that is holding you back.
No camera is going to make you happy without decent glass mounted on it. I can't stress enough how important the lenses are. Having a camera without a good lens is like having a door with the wrong key.

I think it's the subliminal message to all Widows users in nr. 2.

I like the last one for the feeling
