Tranquil statue
Posted By: calle73, 08-22-2009, 12:21 PM

My best photo of the day. Its taken in my hometown Växjö in Sweden. The statue is Esias Tegnér who was a famous bishop and writer.
The nice old building in the background is where Carl Linneus went to school - and that ends todays history lesson

Too much bad shadow... not enoph cropped....get closer...
Will like to see the face of the statue instead of his back.
The background is beautiful... try another angle.

Very nice subject. Pity about the distracting shadows. Would turn out better in early morning or evening when no harsh lighting is around, and with a wider angle lens.
But nice effort.
