Thank You dcmsox2004
Yes I'm lucky because I live in a place near a lot of medieval castels and old villages

It seems to me they are great pictures. Or were, because to be honest I always find this kind of HDR totally overdone. I'm just not into this style, and usually wish I could see the original pictures

Very nice series, Karine. Some of these compositions, I think, would also be outstanding without the HDR treatment.

I have to third the opinion of Jer and Philippe. I think you have done a great job here but the HDR does not always suit. It makes of the countryside some sort of alien landscape, which is maybe not the most appropriate treatment. Be bold and believe in your original framing and capture!

Very Good!
Ditto to all the previous comments re HDR (not a big fan of it)....but to me they have a "feeling" about them, an emotion. Well done.

I like the composition a lot, but I think the tone mapping is a little over the top -- the subjects can stand on their own without it.

I think you have done a good job with these, not overdone.
I really like #5.
To follow on from what RParmar said, I don't think you have turned the countryside into an alien landscape but I do think you have created a hybrid look, part painting, part photograph. I suspect that actual prints compared to digital images might look cheap and tacky.

I like #5 aswell.
A note to the rest of countryscapes. I dont know if it was your intention or not, but some HDR software additionaly to bringing clouds into low dynamic range tries to increase their contrast too much. Other country shot than 5. 7. has this very pronounced.
Nice series.

Thank you

Thank you, Karine, for showing us those beautiful HDR images.
I have tried many HDR programs and was never really satisfied with the results. You have demonstrated that Photomatix produces what I was wanting and so I decided to get it and try it.

I have now recommended it to my friends.
