Up close and personal with a couple of flies I saw today.
Posted By: jbrowning, 08-23-2009, 05:11 PM

Here are a couple fly pictures that I took today using the Pentax K20D, Sigma 50-500mm lens and a 90 degree view finder. There are to be NO mention of flies in the swill of Bronco fans. ;D

Thanks
Jim

#3 is a great capture.
Looks like a heavy crop, which takes away from some of the detail, but really nice work there.

That's a serious macro lens you got there - nice detail.

Thanks Ash, yeah there was some serious cropping to #2 for sure. I was zoomed in almost totally on the flower.

Thanks
Jim

Thanks Dave, yeah I had never really thought of the Bigma as a macro lens. But heck it worked pretty well on this.

Thanks
