Absolutely gorgeous! It does look like a painting, love the colors.

It's such a cheerful picture!

This is a cool shot, buddy. As Stratman (wonder if he's refering to a Fender Strat?) observed, it does look like a painting. How'd you do that, if you don't mind revealing a trade secret or too?

Thanks a lot everybody. The "painting look" was a bit unintentional, it was a very bright day, and I used "shadows and highlights" in PSE, to drop down some of the more glaring highlights, of course it was then too dark so I started adjusting the top level inputs with the "lighting/levels" sliders. I wanted more mid level contrast so I adjusted that slider and this is what you see. I think it's a combination of bright colors, bright sun and some big time work with lighting in PSE. It actually didn't take that long, and I didn't go into layers.

Nice job, H2O. The evenness of lighting attained in pp is very well done. You also seem to have picked a part of the flower bed that amazingly seems to have all the tulips pointing in precision order. I would guess that when they plant them the bulbs are all placed at exact angles. Freddy

I really like the way you framed it so that the colors curve through the picture. Nice shot!
