Brian Haw, A Portrait
Posted By: paulyrichard, 08-24-2009, 09:57 AM

This is a portrait of Brian Haw, which I took today (24/08/09), while in Westminster. He has been protestin' the war in Iraq as well as the governments actions over it, ever since it started.

You can check his background out here, and all what he has been through.

BTW, i've not known anyone who looks more like Clint Eastwood than he does.

What a fella...
A mysterious portrait, quite fitting...
The badge-laden hat says it all - great capture.
Thanks for sharing.

interesting portrait, don't say so much about the persons state of mind (emotion) but sure tells a story in what he is interested about.

I like this, because the elements are like a metaphor for what he is thinking or may represent, right down to the Afghan on the shirt.

If you want to thank him, you can do better by promotin' his website. If you ever meet him in Westminster he will give you a slip of paper with his website address on it anyway.
Its jus' about awareness and gettin' the word out.

Cheers.
