Few More from this Weekend
Posted By: Jimbo, 08-24-2009, 11:19 AM

Went to a local museum with my daughter. Had to shoot at arounf 1250 ISO as we could not use flash. BC Indian carvings / masks, totem pools etc. I also include a B&W shot from Sunday. Cheers JIM

PS: All shots in the museum were hand held at about 1/8 sec. Little blur!!

These were from the provincial museum in Victora right? That is one great museum and you are lucky to have it so near.

Correct Tim. We love going here at least once a year. They were showing works from Egypt on loan from the British Museum. No photo's aloud in that part of the visit and they were watching me!! JIM

JIM - very nice B&W conversion; I can't remember seeing one of your conversions before (but I have CRS disease). Totems are very nice - good job given the conditions.

The museum ones are cool and remind me that it's been too long since I've been to one, but that first one is a stunner!

#1 is one of the best I have seen from your backyard in the Fraser River valley. Maybe you should change your alias from jimbo to Ansel.
