Feathers and Wood 2
Posted By: 8540tomg, 08-25-2009, 12:03 PM

Went back to the pond this afternoon with the K 200/2.5 and the duck was still there. If he had moved at all it wasn't very far. Very unusual for a wild bird in my experience.

In any case it looked like a tough day of preening:

and just hangin out.

Cheers

First two are just beautifully sharp, the details are stunning.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks dcmsox2004/Ash

I'm a real fan boy of the K 200/2.5. I don't think a lens could be a whole lot sharper. If you have the time it can deliver. That said a DA* 200/2.8 would be pretty nice. I think I've bothered this bird enough for one summer. No more duck shots.

Really nice and really sharp. Btw, the reason for "her" not moving, she might have had a nest nearby or she was flirting with you.

Thanks

A little late in the season for a nest in this part of the world. I guess she was flirting.
