day at the park
Posted By: cinaibur, 08-26-2009, 09:28 AM

Spent Saturday at the Park with my girlfriend and dog. This was also my first time to shoot with my new DA70 ltd. Let me know what you think.

Easily my favorite because she had no idea that my dog was escaping from her collar to chase a dog that is just out of frame.

These are bright and colourful pics, expected of such a fine lens in the 70 ltd.
And you're a lucky bloke, too.

haha well the shots are sharp that is good. #1 I don't like becuase your GF is sliced in half - a tigher crop of the dog or back up and have her in the frame. #2 is nice except again she is cut off at the knees - I thingk people shots look better if the subject is not got off exactly at the joints. #3 and #4 I like. #4 the subject might be a littel too centered but I still think it looks good.

OK, for your requested CC:

#1 The legs around the dog do detract from the photo.

#2 I like this, but I'd be be wondering what she was looking at if I did not know previously that the dog was with her.

#3 I like this a lot. It gives a feeling that she is "reflecting" on herself. nice separation with the bokeh.

#4. This is just a great candid and the fact the dog is escaping is histerical!

Wonderful photos. Not to take away from the girl in any way, but that's one fine dog as well.
