reflected duck / reflected sunset...

A duck w/ the DA* 300mm... K-7 @ ISO 1600, 1/30, f/5...


A bit later I switched out to the DA 35mm ltd. for the sunset...
ISO 200, f/4, 1/30...


Both shot RAW and processed in Lr.

Thanks Mike . I spent so much time shooting ducks, I figured I'd better post one, but I scrambled to switch to landscape mode when I saw that scene on my walk back to the car.

Thanks Ash. That pink glow toward the horizon was quite unique - I decided I'd better try to photograph it.

Wonderful shots. I'm impressed with the iso 1600 results- it is a stellar photo with perfect depth of field and focus. The sunset is magical.

Thanks chemrat - the size reduction of the first image does it's part to help hide the ISO noise, but yeah, it's usable I think. Glad you enjoyed the shots.
