A photo of our cat taken by my wife. She requested I post it.

K20D, and FA 77mm Ltd. Auto edit in ACR, and a shade of cropping.

This was taken during one of those extremely rare moments when the cat isn't talking incessantly.

It's a tortie! My neighbor has one and it too makes a racket.

Also, nice photo!

I would like to see a tighter crop on the head, and bounce flash or some PP to correct for the "Green Eye" effect.

Well done to the Mrs.

A tighter crop indeed would look good. What I'm struggling with is she (the feline) might look silly if I changed the green in the eyes to solid black. Any thoughts on this?

At the time I was actually taking a couple of pictures of my wife who had dressed up for a function, and she wanted to try the camera, pointed it at the cat, and took this picture. She's no stranger to picture-taking, but SLR's is an alien world for her.

I reckon some day I'll set up some nice lighting and backdrop and record a couple of images of both our cats.

My wife did a nice job here, the 77mm Ltd did the rest.
