SF street
Posted By: pbo, 08-27-2009, 08:14 PM

Sssooooo I finally found some time to sort through photos I took back in San Francisco; well, what can i say... Post processing sure is not easy! and a reaally time-consuming process. So, here are the photos! They're all street pics. C&C is always appreciated, as well as advice in general. Oh, and if you notice something that I overdid in PP, tell me as well

Let's start with this one.
#1 A street performer @ powell street.

#2 This guy was sitting near the performer from pic #1.

#3 This person seemed to roam around SF with that board of his. So, spooky as that was, I saw him almost wherever I went...

#4 A policeman. Probably one of the few people who didn't notice me shooting

#5 Some guy appeared in Chinatown, selling a huge fish...

#6 They were filming some drama nearby. The fire "victim" to the left had all kinds of burns, scars, and wires hanging off of him. Unfortunately, the whole street was blocked off, so I couldn't get a better shot of him, and you can only see one wire and just some burns on his face

Some street portraits. I particularly like the last two.

Well, that's it for now!

I should probably start thinking about my posture while shooting

Fantastic series. i love candids and you've got some great ones here. My favorites are the make-up and the shark ones. They tell what is happening without words.

That is most definitely a shark! haha. The asian bloke does not look like he approves of it though. Maybe the asking price was a bit rough.

Nice series.
