I really love that first one. How the flower is just staring directly at you. So pretty!

These are very nice. Love the bokeh as well. I am suprised that you would use ISO 800 for flowers, but you must have reasons. One pointer, avoid sharpening when your image depends on good bokeh, it tend to destroy it. YOPu will see the the bokeh has a much softer, natural look without sharpening.

Both are very nicely captured and processed.
Bokeh is very smooth and easy on the eyes.
Well done.

The ISO 800 was only to get the shutter speed up. It was a really cloudy day. I did play around with the sharpening and I kept going back and forth with it. The original picture is pretty sharp with none added, but in the end I sharpened some anyway. I will back off on the sharpening. Thanks for the tip...always learning.

Yes, I love my K100D Super and the K-Series 100mm f4 macro seems to stay on the camera. Quite the "bargain" rig. I've had the camera for almost 2 years (Camera and 18-55MM, new for $354.99 at QVC closeout).

Thanks to all for the kind replies

Have a great day.

I submitted to PPG before I posted here, but it hasn't been reviewed yet. I am afraid it won't quite cut it, but you never know

Maybe I will tweak the processing and re-submit later.

Thanks.
