Sunflowers intimacy A50/1.7 & Helios 44M)
Posted By: Rense, 08-31-2009, 03:27 AM

Did some experimental work with the Pentax Auto Bellows + Helios 44M and a 25mm extention + Pentax-A 50/1.7. The first one is made with the latter combo, the others with the Helios+bellows. C&C welcome!!

Edit: Ooops, missed a bracket in the title....

Looks like you were inside the flowers for these shots... nicely done...love them.

I got to use my helios more often. One question though, does the helios sit on the mount properly on your camera? Do you have any kind of trouble mounting or unmounting the lens? Thanks Rense.

Regards
cj

Thanks Conrad. Yes, the Helios mounts properly, and I have no trouble getting it on or off. What is your problem? Do you use the genuine Pentax M42 adapter?

No, I use a generic brand. I had no problem with other takumar lenses but, this one gives me trouble. It does not want to stay on, comes off easily. I have to try genuine Pentax brand. But, problem is, the adapter is stuck on the lens and I can't get it off. Any suggestion?

Thanks
cj

Awesome Rense. Now Gus is definitely going to jump out of the window, a high one at that.

Haven't heard him for a while. Probably too busy with his Meyer 50/1.8
Thanks for your kind words on my pictures!

Well, I don't know what the problem is. I have two of them, and I have no problem whatsoever. Is focussing stiff? Sometimes I screw off one of my lenses because the grip is less than the grip in the focus ring. Or does it come off totally inexpected, spontaneously? Probably you should ask your question in the lens-section. I guess you'll get more - and better - answers.

Wow, those are really great. Number 2 is my favourite, though I would be proud of any of them.
