A Splash of Fall Colours
Posted By: 8540tomg, 08-31-2009, 11:10 AM

August 31st and already we have some colour change in my area. Must be Canada eh?

The M 400/5.6 and all M series lenses in general seem to provide the pastel blue, green and yellows found in the out-of-focus areas of this image. I don't seem to get the same effect from my K, A, or DA lenses. Must be different lens coatings. Anyone else notice this or is it just my imagination?

Nice shot; you are already starting to see fall colors?

I think we have a couple more weeks of weather before it starts to change in full on the West Coast although I did see that some trees are starting to show late summer colors.

Thanks Legacyb4.

Yes, the colours are a bit early in my part of S. Ontario as we had a cool damp summer.

Nice one.
A little overexposed but a beautiful set of colours.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Ash,

I find all my M series lenses overexpose on my K10. I don't seem to have quite the same issues with the K series for some reason.

In any case, the colours in this one had an impressionist look about them I rather liked.
