Picked up a DA 50-200 yesterday. Here are some test pics. C and C appreciated ...

Nice shots. I love the colors and angle of the first one. The second one is just too busy for me (IMO) , and the last one great DOF ...I read good things about this lens and you have done well with it

Thanks for your comments! It is a sweet lens. I've got LBA really bad though, I've already got my next two lenses picked out.

I have to agree with Daacon, the second shot although a very good shot, and very well focused is a bit busy. I also have this lens and I love the way it handles. It has great DOF at 200mm, and used as a macro will produce excellent shots used either in Auto or manual. It is a good all around lens and a great walk about lens.

Very interesting shots. Now I know I definitely want that lens.
I would like to see the shots a little further away so they would have more background detail and maybe a bit more sharpness. I'm not criticizing them because there is obviously terrific detail there. I'm being a bit selfish because I want to see more of the bokeh. A little more distance from the lens would also help me to understand the lens better. Really looking forward to seeing more.
By the way, can anyone tell me which of the two "kit" lenses would work better in low light.
